Here you can read what is new in Elst Radio. Updates are free and arrive automatically: the program lets you know as soon as a new version is ready.
Version 1.10.3 – Schedule: your radio on autopilot
16 October 2026
With the new 📅 Schema button you create a weekly schedule for your station. Elst Radio then starts your shows automatically at the right time.
- Weekly overview. Monday to Sunday, in blocks of 15 minutes, half an hour or an hour. Click an empty slot to add a broadcast.
- Show, audio file or Automation. Schedule a saved show (.avelog), a ready-made mp3 or wav file, or an Automation clock (non-stop).
- Every day, weekdays or weekend. Put one broadcast on several days with a single click.
- Smooth or exactly on time. Choose whether a show starts after the current track, or exactly on the minute.
- No silence. Nothing scheduled, or a show ends early? The Automation fills the gap with music.
Version 1.10.3 – See at a glance what you have already played
16 October 2026
Do you make a lot of shows? Then you probably no longer remember exactly which records you have already used. Now you don’t have to.
- ✓ Played tracks get a tick. As soon as a track starts on air, or when you save or export a show, a green tick appears in front of it in the music library. Hover over it to see how often it was used and when it was last used. Jingles and voice tracks are not counted.
- Hide what you have already used. With the ✓ Verberg gedraaid (hide played) button you only see tracks you have not used yet, so you can quickly build a show with records that have not been on yet.
- How far along are you? At the bottom of the list you will see, for example, “✓ 120 of 492 played”.
- Start again. With ✓ Wissen (clear) you remove all ticks in a folder at once. The tracks themselves of course stay where they are.
- The Stream window can now be scrolled, so all settings are visible even in a small window.
